Sample question: What happens to students who already reserved a third-floor room during the closure? Answer: They're automatically moved to the second floor — the passage states this directly rather than requiring inference, which is typical of this task's more literal, practical reading style.
Passage: "Reminder: Course registration for fall semester opens Monday at 9 AM. Priority registration is available to seniors and students in the honors program starting Friday. All other students should plan to register during the general window beginning Monday."
Sample question: Who can register before the general Monday window? Answer: Seniors and honors program students, starting Friday — the passage distinguishes two groups and two different start times, which is exactly the kind of detail this task type tests for.
